About Us

Moyne Shire stretches the lands of Gunditjmara and Eastern Maar people, located in South-West Victoria.

Commerce Moyne represents businesses from Peterborough in the South East to Woorndoo in the North East, Macarthur in the North West to Yambuk in the South West. The Moyne Shire takes in the towns of Port Fairy, Koroit, Mortlake and Panmure.

Commerce in the Shire is predominantly rural with a focus on grazing (beef and sheep), dairy and grain production. Other major industries include value added agriculture such as Bega in Koroit and the Mortlake Saleyards, energy, health, tourism, and many small to medium businesses.

Commerce Moyne took over the legacy of the Port Fairy Business Association and it relaunched in November 2022 with initial sponsorship from the Moyne Shire and the Port Fairy Community Bank.

Commerce Moyne aims to empower the businesses in the Moyne Shire to thrive throughout the year and into the future.
